This compass needs no secondary light source for illumination. The tritium gas allows for full visibility day or night. The GI compass has a magnetized disk that sets up more quickly than conventional needles.The Anti-static, liquid-filled dial with jeweled bearing features 1 degree gradations to ensure accuracy. The Declination adjustment scale allows you to account for the difference between magnetic and true north; scale on base is ajustable to your location. Includes built-in magnifier, protective flip down cover and lanyard. The GI Tritium compass comes with a compass pouch.
